A muffler delete is exactly what it sounds like: we remove the muffler from your exhaust system and replace that section with a straight length of pipe. The muffler is the box near the back of your vehicle that quiets and softens the exhaust note, so taking it out lets the sound come through raw and unfiltered.

The result is a noticeably louder, deeper, more aggressive tone — plus a slightly less restricted path for exhaust gases. A resonator delete is the same idea applied to the resonator (a smaller chamber that cancels certain frequencies), and the two are often done together.

It is mostly about sound and looks, not big power gains. Deletes are best for off-road, show, or track use — they can make a vehicle too loud for some streets and may affect emissions compliance, so we walk you through the trade-offs and can build it reversible if you want the option to put a muffler back later.
