We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our automotive shop team. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and repairing metal components and structures for automobiles.

The ideal candidate will have extensive welding experience in an automotive setting, possess strong attention to detail, and be skilled in working with various types of metals.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• *Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, to perform precise and accurate welds on automotive components.
  
  
• *Fabricate and weld exhaust systems.
  
  
• *Repair and reinforce automotive exhaust systems, and other metal parts using appropriate welding techniques.
  
  
• *Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications for strength, durability, and aesthetics.
  
  
• Collaborate with automotive technicians and mechanics to identify welding needs and determine the best approach for repairs or modifications.
  
  
• *Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all welding equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
  
  
• *Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe welding practices.
  
  
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder in an automotive shop or similar setting.
  
  
• Strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques specific to automotive applications.
  
  
• *In-depth knowledge of different types of metals commonly used in automotive exhaust systems.
  
  
• *Experience in working with automotive exhaust systems, and other metal components.
  
  
• *Familiarity with automotive welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
  
  
• *Valid welding certification(s) preferred.
  
  
• *Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  
  
• *Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• *Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members.
  
  
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks in various positions and locations within the shop.
